A concept created by Kant, The Categorical Imperative was an attempt to create a universal moral law based on pure reason and not individual motivations. He said that we should act only according to maxims that we'd want as universal laws. We believe beer should be universally enjoyed! Whatever principles you live by, we're glad you've chosen this beer.
This pale ale packs some tropical citrus and floral notes thanks to Mosaic hops.

Brewed with 60 percent wheat, 40 percent barley - using top fermenting yeast, it is then slowly lagered and remains unfiltered throughout the finish.
Sheep Shagger Scotch Ale is rich, malty and full-bodied. Brewed with specially roasted malts for a complex blend of caramel and toffee flavors and a subtle peaty character. Colonel Carmichael, an educated and accomplished Scotchman, settled in Lake Mills in 1844. He selected a location at the head of Rock Lake, which he stocked quite largely with sheep, intending to make a sheep farm of the place. He had five hundred sheep driven in from Ohio and shepherds with their dogs and crooks come clear from Scotland. We can picture it now, the Colonel relaxing on the back porch with a Sheep Shagger Scotch Ale in hand, looking onto his fields and watching his shepherds shagging sheep for shearing. (Shagging means retrieving... What were you thinking?)ABV: 7.2 | IBU: 22
Our flagship beer named after the hardworking neighborhood in which Lakefront Brewery was founded. The rich amber color and smooth flavor are derived from the generous amount of caramel malt , with just a dash of roasted unmalted barley for a subtle toasted flavor in the background. The sweetness, body, and mouth feel tell you this is an all-malt beer. The finish has a balanced hoppiness which cuts through the malty character, leaving a clean palate which beckons for more.
Mardi Gras Bock (January – March) is the first of our seasonal brews. Abita Bock is brewed with pale, pilsner and caramel malts and German Perle hops. Our bock is similar to German maibocks with its rich malt flavor and full body. A perfect choice during Carnival season in New Orleans. Gruyére, Emmental and Swiss are nice cheese choices with Bock. Great with roasted beef or pork. Try it with Mexican food, too.ABV: 6.5 | IBU: 25
